With the android application you can add pictures from your social network contacts to the contact list of your phone.
The software visualizes your phone and network contacts by arranging them in two separate lists. Choose a phone contact and the list of social network contacts is sorted by the best matching persons. You can now add the picture to your phone contact.
The app will not synchronize your contacts automatically. This is on purpose so you can explicitly choose which picture to assign.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Can I be sure that my personal information, such as the phone list is not sent to the internet?
A: Yes, the application only reads your social network contacts. The phone data is then extended by adding the pictures and will not get synchronized into the internet. Many Android users have their contacts synced with a google account, with the next synchronisation the new pictures will be transmitted as well.
Q: Is it possible to remove the contact pictures again?
A: Yes, since 1.3 you can remove or even replace contact pictures easily. Either use the menu or long click on the item you wish the contact photo to be removed, a confirmation dialog is displayed.
This is really a quick alternative to the standard function of the phone;
Open the contact and choose to edit it. Then tap on the contacts picture. A drop-down is presented to you that allows to remove the assigned picture again. One of the next updates of AcePic will also support this functionality.
Q: The program uses some megabytes of storage on my phone, why is that?
A: The app temporarily stores the pictures to allow a quicker access. With android 2.2 you can move the data to the SD card to save internal phone memory.
